COVID-19 continues to impact communities around the world, and our preschool has not gone unaffected. For the week of January 11-17, 2021, we have been advised that no employees or children attending our program have been confirmed positive cases for COVID-19. If your classroom is directly affected in the future, we will contact your room directly.
As your volunteer board of directors, we are responsible for making decisions on behalf of the CDC with the best interests of our employees, students, and families in mind. While we were closed, the board worked with our executive director to review existing protocols for operations during this pandemic, and adjusted them as needed. Social distancing, increased frequency and duration of cleaning and sanitation activities, personal hand washing, wearing masks, and health monitoring remain the foundation of our strategy to reduce the spread of this virus.
Please keep in mind that we are in Stage 3: Community Spread and we are only able to report on self-reported confirmed cases of our employees and students.
