Last week, a few of our classrooms celebrated Diwali, which is the largest celebration in India. Diwali is known as the Festival of Lights and celebrates the victory of good over evil and light over darkness. Thank you to the families who shared their traditions with our classrooms! The children used air dry clay and lights to create “diyas” (lamps), which symbolizes
goodness and helps to get rid of darkness.
